Responsibilities
Define Product Direction
Partner with PMs and engineers from discovery to launch. You help shape what gets built, not just how it looks. Your thinking influences the roadmap.
Design Systems Ownership
Maintain and evolve Deely's design system. Build components that scale across surfaces and keep the product experience consistent and coherent.
Ship With Speed
Move from concept to polished UI fast. Iterate in public, share work early, and make decisions confidently without waiting for perfect information.
User Research and Validation
Talk to users regularly. Run lightweight research to validate assumptions, surface pain points, and keep the team anchored in real behavior.
Raise the Bar
Review work across the team. Set a high standard for craft, interaction quality, and accessibility. Push others and yourself to go deeper.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with engineers to ensure implementation matches intent. Communicate design decisions clearly and advocate for the user in every room.
Requirements
Experience
4+ years of product design experience at a software company. You have shipped features used by real people at meaningful scale.
Interaction Craft
Deep skill in designing flows, states, and interactions. You think in systems, not screens, and your work feels considered at every level.
Communication
You articulate design decisions clearly in writing and in conversation. You can defend a choice and change your mind when given better information.
Tooling
Proficient in Figma and familiar with how design translates to production code. Bonus if you have worked closely with Framer or design-to-code workflows.
Curiosity
You study great products, notice details others miss, and bring that energy into your own work.
Resilience
Design is hard and feedback is constant. You take it well, give it well, and keep improving.
